Come meet Brian the Sika Deer

Welcome to Wild Atlantic Wildlife Park!

Wild Atlantic Wildlife Park is situated just 9kms outside of Dingle with incredible views of Mt. Brandon and the 3 Sisters (Na Triúr Deirfiúr) a group of three peaks at the Northwest end of the Dingle Peninsula. We will be reopening Scanon’s Pet Farm under a new owner and are very excited for the years of growth to come!  We will continue to display the farms animals that have been here for many years and will display a variety of small mammals, birds of prey and will soon be display a variety of reptiles. We will have daily ferret racing, keeper talk, animal meet and greets and we will be training up birds of prey for the addition of our Bird of Prey Flying Display. We will be starting with a smaller variety of species but the Wildlife Park will continue to develop and grow!

Play Area

There is a small fenced in play area in front of the party room with a self-service coffee machine and picnic benches to sit and relax while overlooking the stunning view of the 3 sisters. We have created 2 willow domes with flowers planted in this area to create natural hides!

River Walk

Let the kids run off some steam on the River Walk which brings you around in a loop to see the animals we have on display and leads to an opening with a picnic area on the beautiful Feoghanagh River. We aim to create scavenger hunts that’s combines fun and education about native species along the walkway that allow children to spend some more time on the walk and reconnect to the natural world.

Daily Flying Displays

As the river walk continues it brings you to the Bird Flying Area where we will hold daily flying display that shows a variety of birds, and the falconer will provide information about the species. We will be starting with young birds this year that will need to be trained so flying display may be limited to begin but we will provide meet and greets with birds.

Ferret Racing and Meet and Greet

Ferrets are very active and playful creatures that love to run and hide, so we have created a mini racecourse and will host daily races where kids can pick their favourite! The keeper will also provide a keeper talk about ferrets and provide time to meet the ferrets. We will also hold a keeper talk and meet and greet about the other mammals we have on display.
